- engineering high-performance bandwidth-efficient, scalable solutions that are cost-effective
- innovatively adapting, extending and re-purposing Information and Communications Technologies
In addition, by leveraging the expertise of our SatCom technologists on projects for various US Federal Government Agencies on technical issues such as network architecture, terminal stability, carrier re-grooming, bandwidth-maximization and interference studies, we also provide specialized SatCom Engineering services.
We have a special interest in developing SatCom-based Information Communication Technology (ICT) solutions in the area of International Development (ICTD/ICT4D) and are currently looking to work with NGOs to exploit the full potential of an upcoming Android tablet implementation of an innovative concept mentioned in our paper in the Online Journal of Space Communications. With the potential to cost-effectively address developmental problems across domains – by increasing awareness, providing continuing education and alerting populations – and by being robust enough to survive all phases of the disaster/relief/rebuilding/development lifecycle, this innovation is especially relevant to countries at the bottom of the economic pyramid.
